Dr. Winkler emigrated to the United States from Germany in
1963 working as an electrical engineer for an American company.
At the age of 30, he went back to college and realized his dream
of becoming a dentist. He practiced for 15 years in Bethesda,
Maryland, providing dentistry to the German, Swiss, and Austrian
Embassies. He later followed his son, a physician, to California
where he has continued to practice dentistry.
Dr. Winkler keeps abreast of the latest technology and employs only those
innovations that he feels will be most beneficial to the patient.
Each patient's treatment is specific and individualized for him or her.
He does not perform unnecessary procedures and works with the patient
in developing a treatment plan that the patient is comfortable with.
His approach is gentle and caring.
